Sirius Minerals Foundation visit to Art Therapy Yorkshire

Art Therapy Yorkshire therapists Peter, Holly and Ann with Moyra our Chair Trustee were happy to welcome Sirius Minerals Foundation Trustee and Representative on Wednesday 20th October for a visit. Sirius Minerals Foundation have recently awarded funding and this will enable a Men’s Group for 2022.

This is hugely important work and for this to be secured will enable this valuable support to continue in next year. It was a pleasure to host for Sirius Minerals Foundation, although a short visit we were able to discuss what we do, why we do and and the upcoming Men’s Group this funding will support.

If you are interested in our Men’s Group please see the information in the the post for Sirius Minerals Foundation Funding.

how it was …

I just thought I’d share a pic of two of our therapists delivering to a hostel kitchen mid Lockdown. Not perfect – not a face to  face group  but good enough. So happy to be able to deliver somehow! Thanks go out to the staff members who helped facilitate at that end! and our funders The Big Lottery who enabled this unusual intervention.

Big Thank You to Sirius Minerals Foundation

This group is designed to support men who may have been affected by trauma or abuse of any kind. It will allow group members to explore using creative media in a safe and supported space with our qualified and experienced Art Psychotherapists.
