ATY has joined the on-line fundraising charity Localgiving.com who help local charities and community groups to connect with people, and to fund raise on-line. Do take the time to check out the link to our page. Every donation is very much appreciated and very important to us.
ATY has been successful in their bid to the European Social Fund through Your Consortium. This project involves art therapy groups aimed at unemployed adults and will be launched in the New year. Local Agencies will be invited to refer into this project. There will be much more news to follow about this innovative approach.
We have learnt today that the Boshier-Hinton Foundation has pledged ATY £2000 towards an Art Therapy group for adults with learning difficulties.
We must find an extra £1500 to make this group happen, but this is a fabulous start. Thanks Boshier-Hinton.
