We are absolutely thrilled ( and just a bit relieved) to be able to announce the granting of core funding from the Garfield Weston Foundation.

This means in effect that our basic running costs – without staff – are covered for the next two years. This is a massive boost especially in the week before Christmas!

We look forward to be able to deliver a stronger service in the New Year.

We were delighted and quite surprised by a kind donation from Hackness Ladies Choir, who have chosen ATY as one of their local charities nominated for support.

We have very recently  heard from two funding organisations with positive news for 2024 – I will announce these when we have actually received and are able to make use of this very welcome funding. This means we can revisit our waiting list and make contact with those wishing to access our service. Nothing could make us more happy!

I wish to take this opportunity to thank all those who helped with large or small gifts recently be that £10 or £1000, those who bought calendars, donated tombola prizes, held and attended  Christmas Workshops; those who bought our surplus materials from kiln to easels  and so forth.

It may have not seemed much but this bridged a funding gap just long enough to survive the funding drought and see us into the new year for this I say a huge thank you .
