Two To Thank

We were delighted to receive more  positive news on our funding search –

the Charles and Elsie Sykes Trust has again awarded us a sum to continue our work. this is much appreciated.

As is the £5000 received recently from the Liz and Terry Bramall Foundation it is no exaggeration to say these keep us going.

Huge thanks to the trustees of both organisations for the work you do.

Thank you Truemark

We were delighted to get a positive response to our application to the Truemark trust, who have granted us £4000, in order to continue delivery .

. The Truemark Trust makes donations to small local Charities dealing with all kinds of disadvantage, with preferences to neighbourhood based community projects and for innovatory work with less popular groups. I guess that sums up our work pretty welll!  Thank you Truemark for recognising the value in what we do.

Thank you Calmcott

Thank you for our lovely surprise donation – this is much appreciated and will help us continue our work – the trust supports health, arts, education and social needs with a focus on Yorkshire charities.

Your Journey Your Way

We wish to acknowledge the brilliant writing of Horatio Clare the journalist, author, travel writer  & BBC presenter who was ”Spurred into researching this topic following his own journey from breakdown to recovery. Award-winning writer and broadcaster Horatio Clare speaks to experts from across the system to show how to put together the best treatment plan for you or a loved one.”

Horatio visited us here and his experience formed the basis for chapter17-Healing in action: Art Therapy-an experience we found profoundly humbling to share. Of course we also wish to thank our anonymous Babs for bravely sharing their story. Here is a link to his site. Journalism & Essays – Horatio Clare

Thanks to the Fitzwillam Estate

We would also like to acknowledge the kind support of The Earl Fitzwilliam Charitable Trust who have granted  £2500 towards our work.

This is particularly welcome as it acknowledges the work we do around Ryedale where the Malton Estate is located so we are grateful for this recognition.

Some brilliant, dynamic BRUSHO art for you!

Yorkshire Building Society

WE want to thank  the YBS member who nominated ATY for an award, and the Society itself for donating £1000 to continue our work.

Please remember if you are a member of a Building Society that they often have good causes/charitable areas where you may nominate a charity.
