We wish to acknowledge the Two Ridings Community Foundation based in York who, through their Community First Whitby and Scarborough Fund have supported the provision of our pilot Young Persons group. This 6 week group  worked with Young People in our community who have been disadvantaged, and struggle with some aspect of their lives. Unfortunately the successful conclusion of this work was curtailed owing to the Covid 19 shut down, but contact is maintained with the young people involved and shall continue in the future. This was considered a pilot as it included a more structured and themed approach in its short term approach, a way of working which is becoming more a reality.
