Some photo’s are below for you to take a peek inside our new space.

Through RISE, individuals receive tailored 1-2-1 mentoring, advice and employability support, and have access to specific interventions designed to help break down barriers. This support is designed to improve people’s health (both mental and physical health, confidence, skills, circumstances and ultimately their employability, moving them closer towards a position where they are thriving in their life and in work.

RISE is funded by the UK government through the UK Shared Prosperity fund (UKSPF). The programme began mid-May 2023 and initially runs to the end of March 2024 with the possibility of continuation funding.

fascinating visit

In January we hosted a visit from the notable writer and broadcaster Horatio Clare as he continues his research into  effective and alternative/complementary therapies for mental health conditions. He was able to sit in on a session and interview a client , and we are very grateful to them for giving such an honest and open insight to their world .

He commented ‘There should be 10 of you in every town’ and as creative and passionate  Art Therapists we have to agree.

Thank you Horatio and please come back.
