ATY would like to thank the Art Society Scarborough for awarding them the sum of £250.
This sum will go towards an exhibition in 2023 at Gallery 6. Watch this space for updates.
We let you know earlier that gallery 6 were holding a ‘taking down’ party and auction. following on from their popular ‘Warming The Pot’ exhibition.
We would like to thank gallery 6, leslie, Angela and Chantelle and all their ceramicists painters and textile artists for their support.
This event has raised a wonderful £600 which will all go to support our work in the community. Thank you so much. Cheers!!
We are very grateful for the support of the Woodsmiths Foundation, who have awarded us the amount needed to continue to deliver our Adult work.
This is in the form of their Community grant and will enable many individuals to access our services and begin their therapeutic intervention.

ATY wishes to thank the George A Moore Foundation, based in Leeds for their support. The trust has granted us £2,500 to enable us to continue to provide support within our locality.
We would like to thank our friends at Proudfoots, our fab local Supermarket, Val and the team at MADL who have granted us £500 towards our work.

Our Friends at Gallery6 in Scarborough have a new exhibition on which started on Wednesday 7th September and runs until Friday 30th September. Warming the Pot displays Tea themed arts and crafts, with items for sale within the exhibition it is well worth a visit.
Kindly 10% of sold items will come to Art Therapy Yorkshire. Thank you Gallery6 for your support and we hope you can make it down to Gallery6 to enjoy this exhibition.

Regretfully, our current understanding of the potential damage caused by poor mental health has created increasing competition for limited funding and has lead to an unprecedented demand on our services and support.
Therefore Art Therapy Yorkshire are unable to accept any unfunded referrals for therapeutic work.
We are happy to accept referrals for work with Children and Young people, 7-17, and of course we continue as intervention partners with Action Towards Inclusion.
We are committed to maintaining our support to vulnerable individuals within our community and we would encourage people to seek help with difficult issues. When our funding situation changes we will give another service update.
On Saturday 18th June from 12 noon we will be at Scalby Fair Day on the High Street in Scalby Village. Scalby Fair 2022 is hosting a series of events from Sunday 12th June into Sunday 19th June.
The ATY team will be present along with a host of others with stalls on the day. We look forward to seeing you there. Please see the poster below for further information.
